Thank you for helping us recognize and celebrate the incredible people who make our school community so special! 💚💛
We’re asking every Hobbs Middle School family to take just a few minutes to download the Box Tops for Education app and select R Hobbs Middle School as your school.
This is one of the easiest ways you can help support our Jaguars — and it doesn’t cost you anything extra! Simply scan your eligible receipts in the Box Tops app, and those everyday purchases can turn into money for our school.
Every dollar we raise through Box Tops will go directly back to our students and staff through recognition and appreciation efforts throughout the year. These funds will help us celebrate student achievements, recognize outstanding staff members, and support special events that make Hobbs a great place to learn and work.
Please take a few minutes to sign up, choose R Hobbs Middle School, and start scanning your receipts.
Thank you for supporting our students, our staff, and Hobbs Middle School! 💚💛

Big congratulations to Luke Lomoriello on being featured by Florida MileSplit as a Future Star! 🏃♂️💨
The Hobbs Middle School 8th-grader is off to an incredible start this cross country season, with two wins, one runner-up finish, and a huge new 3K PR of 9:42.60! ⏱️
At the Gulf Coast Stampede, Luke successfully defended his title while dropping an incredible 51 seconds from his winning time at the same meet last year. Even more impressive, he shattered his previous PR by more than 28 seconds to break the 10-minute barrier for the first time. 🔥
The hard work is showing, and there’s still plenty of season left! We’re excited to see what’s next for this young runner. 💪🏽🏆
👏 Way to go, Luke! Keep chasing those goals!

From the EDSITEment website (edsitement.neh.gov):
September 17th is Constitution Day, commemorating the day in 1787 when, at the end of a long hot summer of discussion, debate and deliberation, the delegates to the Constitutional Convention signed America’s most important document. George Washington, on behalf of the Convention, transmitted the proposed Constitution to the Congress assembled under the Articles of Confederation. Eleven days later, the Congress by unanimous resolution passed the proposal on to conventions of delegates to be chosen in each state. It was in these state conventions that the Constitution was thoroughly discussed, debated and eventually ratified.
The United States Constitution is the oldest written national constitution still in operation, and many of the nations that have established themselves in the centuries since have turned to this document as a model for their own constitutions. As a document that defines the structure of our federal government and delineates the rights of the states within the union, and of individual citizens within the nation, the Constitution has become a symbol to Americans and to the world of our political principles and the democratic way of life that flows from them.

Today, we had the privilege of celebrating some amazing students who were nominated by their teachers for a JAGS Award! 🐾💚
Our JAGS Awards are part of our PBIS (Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports) program, which focuses on recognizing and celebrating students who demonstrate positive behavior, make great choices, show kindness, and contribute to a positive school community.
We are so proud of these students for being great examples of what it means to be a JAGS! Your hard work, positive attitudes, and thoughtful choices do not go unnoticed. 🎉👏
Congratulations to all of our JAGS Award recipients! Keep showing those JAGS values and making our school a better place! 🐾⭐
