Military families, parents, guardians, and, most importantly, students, welcome to Hobbs Middle School!  Whether you currently attend Hobbs and are seeking resources, or you are new to the area and are considering Hobbs as your school, we are excited to help support you and your students!

Hobbs is so grateful for our military families and our surrounding military community.  We appreciate the service and sacrifice you make, and we are aware of the unique demands that both can create.  This is especially true as it relates to changing duty stations and transitioning from one school to the next.

MFLC Program

MFLC Program: Our Child Youth Behavioral Military and Family Life Counselor (CYB-MFLC) at Hobbs MS is:

  • Available to provide short-term, non-medical counseling support.

  • Masters or Doctorate-level licensed counselors specializing in child and youth behavioral issues.

  • Available at no cost to assist children and youth, parents, family members and staff of child and youth programs.

  • Services are private and confidential with the exception of child abuse/neglect, domestic abuse and other duty-to-warn situations.

Military Kids Connect
  • Military Kids Connect is an online community for military children ages 6-17, and provides access to age-appropriate resources to support children dealing with the unique psychological challenges of military life. MKC offers informative activities, helpful videos, and an online community that can build and reinforce understanding, resilience, and coping skills in military children and their peers.
